The A38 is the main trunk road that runs between Exeter and Plymouth. The Lower Dean and Rattery Hill we notorious for traffic accidents caused by standing water on the carriageway. Working for Enterpirsemouchel on behalf of the Highways Agency we constructed 3.5km of new drainage pipelines and outfalls in the existing verges working around various services including fibre optics. The drainage system installed ranged in size from 225mm diameter to 900mm diameter pipes.
