Phase 2 involved lowering boulders weighing between 1t to 5t from the elevated A30 by Bodmin Parkway Station on to the river bank below
The boulders were then placed in the river to create scour protection to the reinforced earth wall that carries the A38 trunk road traffic.
In total 170t of boulders we placed. The works were delivered ahead of schedule and within budget.
Phase 1 was completed in November 2015, similar work on a different part of the river
