A38 Lower Lodge Stabilisation

Starting work in the Glynn Valley on the A38 in January to undertake an earthworks scheme was a challenging prospect but the scheme was delivered on budget and ahead of time.

The works required a 560m length of existing masonry wall to be replaced and strengthened.

      Our scope of works included:

    • Bulk Earthworks & fill
    • Japanese Knotweed Removal
    • New Zealand Pigmy Weed Removal
    • Working around water
    • Gabion Retaining Walls
    • Earth Retaining Walls
    • Drainage
    • Sub-base
    • Kerbing
    • Sign Erection
      • The value of the scheme was just over £1m.
